چکیده
The driving forces behind gas flow and migration, as well the associated gas–water distribution patterns in tight reservoirs, are not only closely related to formation mechanisms of “sweet spots”, but also serve crucial geological foundations for development efficient modes optimal placement. In this work, three methods, namely, critical column height driven by buoyancy, pore throat radius attitude, were used quantitatively evaluate conditions buoyancy overpressure get flowing sandstone field. light background, flow/migration comprehensively analyzed. On basis origins identified using multiple empirical evolution characteristics studied PetroMod_2014 simulation software. results show that four main gas-bearing layers NX reservoir differ widely dynamics patterns. Gas accumulation H3b layer is influenced both overpressure. Subsequently, leads differentiation from water based on density edge water. Furthermore, area determined presence an anticline trap. contrast, H3a, H4b H5a layers, sufficient overcome capillary force make migrate during after accumulation, formed fluid volume expansion hydrocarbon generation Pinghu Formation source rocks. Because natural flow, have same produced together, no boundary bottom water, where anticlinal trap does control faults reservoir. These understandings significantly expand target delineated pattern provide important formulation plan class grade

SPE 139250 Analysis of Mechanisms of Flow in Fractured Tight-Gas and Shale-Gas Reservoirs
In this paper we analyze by means of numerical simulation the mechanisms and processes of flow in two types of fractured tight gas reservoirs: shale and tight-sand systems. The numerical model includes Darcy’s law as the basic equation of multiphase flow and accurately describes the thermophysical properties of the reservoir fluids, but also incorporates other options that cover the spectrum of...
